National state of emergency declared over here thenks to an ex-tropical cyclone. Nothing much happening where I am, but further north pretty bad flooding and a heap of people without power or cell phone coverage

Missed my kid's baseball game because some punk decided to shoot up a 7/11 over $120 in the cash register. Real mess over there. Blood all over.
My kid hit a game winning double. He says he understands, but I know he's angry with me. The ex is up my ass about it. She don't know there's a war going on down here. Animals taking over the streets, and no one does a damn thing about it.
