there was a video of kevin mccarthy saying that it was very well known not to let your younger staffers near Gaetz and Swalwell
I think most dismissed swalwell because no democrat would do such a thing. the thing is when it happens to democrats (swalwell and franken) they do accept the consequences (though i still think frankens was BS) where as republicans act as if nothing happened
