Cant be a big name because its not Johnny Damon or Jacoby Ellsbury.
Probably picked up by his latest team pretty recently for it to be in the news enough for chud to read it.

I'm with ya. I have a friend who played a few years of pro baseball. You should see the list of banned substances. It'd be easy to forget one. I have not read much about the Chris Davis situation today but I did hear it was for his ADHD? Rules are rules I guess but fuck.

I think that the game itself doesn't suffer. And for just the pro's to take things under heavy medical supervision (this about PED's, right, not just amphetamines), it would probably be okay. The problem is that you end up creating a situation where people feel like to have an opportunity to compete with those that are choosing to use risky drugs, they have to take them as well. So now you're looking at high school kids buying steroids off the street without the medical supervision that allows them to be taken safely.

A person shouldn't be required to take potentially dangerous drugs in order to have an opportunity to play. Earn it on your merits- your abilities.

I swear, every time I watch him pitch, I am stunned his arm doesn't go flying off into space.

I know the narrative on him is always going to be "He's about to have a career-ending injury any second now due to his mechanics," but he's already pitched more innings in his entire career than Mark "He will never get injured because his mechanics are perfect" Prior did, for what it's worth.

Does he get the Randy Johnson comparison a lot? It may be obvious, but between his ability, build and ugly mug it's warranted.

Also, his intense hatred for birds.
