Carrie (1976)
I very much enjoyed watching this, but I'm not sure how well it has aged. Quite a mixed bag of bad acting. The mother felt like a Kristen Wiig character, but also genuinely terrifying at times (hiding behind the door
). A lot of great, creative camera work, and an all-time great jump scare at the end.
All Quiet on the Western Front
A very well made war movie. Tons of incredible shots and sequences. Story wise it's one bummer after another, but that's kind of the whole point. Two thumbs up.
