All of this talk about Felix and Sale and people are forgetting how great Kluber has been this year in the AL. He is having only the 16th season of 220 K's (244) or more, 4.50 K/BB ratio (5.08) or better and HR/9 allowed less than 0.66 (0.6) in MLB history.

Kluber should probably be an easy #2 to Felix right now, but I would have no problem with the argument that he should be #1. It would probably be a toss-up between the two of them for me right now.

Yea I would slot Kluber in after Felix.

You could give it to Felix, Sale or Kluber and make an argument for it. I think it will go Felix, Sale and Kluber 1-2-3 and I could even see Max being 3rd over Kluber. Which would be ridiculous but whatever. Just saw that stat today and was blown away. I think Cleveland contends next year. Pretty good young pitching with Kluber, Bauer, House, Salazar and Cody Allen and a good young lineup with Santana, Brantley, Gomes, Chisenhall, Kipnis and Lindor being close to ready.

Also, how fucking good was Pedro? He was on this list of 16 different season three times. Nobody else was on it twice. Link below.

Lastly, Mark Prior would have been a fucking beast if he had stayed healthy. His season was in his first full season.

Adrian Beltre passed Vlad Guerrero today for most hits by a Dominican born player. The last two years have been two of Beltre's best (probably 2 of his top 5) and he has had almost no protection. Just a fucking beast and no signs whatsoever of slowing down. He probably won't be but IMHO he is a first ballot hall of famer.

It's too bad he didn't perform better with Ke$ha's Pet Penguins.

I could see him having 1-2 big years and another 2 decent ones. Should be enough to get him past 3,000 hits and creeping up on 500 home runs.

I remember when he signed with the Red Sox the prevailing opinion was that he was a washed up player that put together a short burst of superstar production because of steroids and will never be that great again.

Has a decent shot to end the year at 2600 career hits. He will probably win the GG this year as well. A lot of that is because Machado is hurt but still.....

I have never been more wrong about a player than I was about him. I was pissed when they signed him and he ended up being basically the prototype of the kind of player I love.

Totally. He was great that year for you guys and I was thrilled when we signed him because watching Michael Young play third was painful. Belt credits Dave Magadan to helping him rejuvenate his career.
