At some point we should have a season/league where you can field a team of all-Canadian players.
I'd LOVE to do something like that. Like all regional teams? I'd love to make a Midwest/Great Plains team. Jorge could rock a Latin team.

For the "Michigan related team" I could pick the 93 Reds!

Nomar is vying for that tournament MVP award.

That would be pretty awesome. O'Neill, Walker, Votto, Morneau, Martin, some solid/amazing pitching seasons from Jenkins, Harden, Bedard, Gagne closing things out.

And... uh... Pete Orr at shortstop.

Pete Orr originally committed to Nebraska out of his community college but decided to sign with the Braves instead. Our baseball program use to get Canadians all the time. I'm sure the Red Sox fans remember Adam Stern? Ex Husker. Good guy.

It's odd to see Tiant going against the Red Sox in the World Series but such is life.

Luckily I would have enough good outfielders that I wouldn't need Stern.

Which makes me sad.

I doubt he is even available.

He needs to bounce back though. He's hitting .167 this round.

I remember when I was little and getting into baseball I saw some highlights of the 1975 World Series. Tiant looked like he was a lot of fun to watch.

My GF's Dad (also Cuban) loved Tiant.

I'm just sad we never to got see a pitcher face himself. Maybe in the 2015 All-Time Franchise league we'll get a Clemens vs. Clemens or a Perry vs. Perry or something.

I almost engineered it so Pedro faced Pedro.

Pedro vs. Pedro would have been the best of them. There'd be like 29 strikeouts in that game.
