It may very well have been overstated, but claims that looting extended beyond retail to warehouses causing more sustained supply chain issues will be demonstrated to be accurate or not soon.

Ok I'm a little confused now. I assumed Insulate Britain was some sort of racist euphemism for keeping immigrants out, but they're actually protesting about insulation? Do I dare dig deeper?

High likelihood its a re-brand of extinction rebellion. Probably had bad polling, thought this reboot would at least touch on regular people's concerns (utility costs).

The Department of Defense approved the deployment of about 700 unarmed D.C. National Guard troops ahead of potential trucker protests timed around next week's State of the Union address, AP reports. The National Guard members will help with traffic control, the Pentagon said.

It's certainly not an irrational worry. The CIA is a lot more experienced with infiltrating and dissipating movements against the state than whatever passes for Canadian spooks, which is probably why Canada had to spoil it's social credit system before the population is fully conditioned to accept it.
