I kinda like that this series doesn't really hold your hand through every function. That would have been the safe move for such a big release. Because a good RPG should confuse the fuck out of you for the first few dozen hours .

My mission right now is to build enough robots to run a settlement so the settlers can jus chill

It's a constant battle deciding whether I want to go out and explore and fight bad guys, or just hang at my settlement and tinker in the shop.

I built a cat cage on spectacle island. Now we play the waiting game.

That is going to take a long time to pay off.

I'm a little confused about what stats I should focus on when building my character (other than Intelligence and Faith). Google searches tend to confuse me more. I guess I will just need to explore and experiment more. I've only made it just past the Firelink Shrine.

Thank heavens that is over. Next on the agenda is landscaping. At least that can only be done during the day.
