We've outlined the different era ones a few times. I believe they're...
1969-1994 (LCS era)
1947-1968 (Post-integration)
1921-1946 (Live Ball)
1901-1920 (Dead Ball)
Pre-1901 (Parisian Bob era)
I like the theme ones because they don't have drafts, but I know drafting is a lot of the fun for some people.

I'm looking forward to the LCS one.

Oh yes Post-integration and LCS ones will be a blast.

We should run the LCS one as soon as the WS is over.

Agreed with all of this.
Totally understand if Lament needs a sabbatical though.

I would run a team of guys named Matt. We'd lose, but we'd lose with one of the most mundane names there is.

My name is much more mundane.
I could go with guys with a color in their name? Vida Blue, Frank White, etc. Yes, we'd get slaughtered.

After the World Series ends we'll gauge what the interest is for the LCS era and how soon people would want to do it. I feel like the participation may drop a bit if we do it during the holiday season, but I could be wrong.

That could just mean people are less likely to make as many line up changes on you.

Haha. True.
Once people started keeping their lineups for RHPs as the default, the time it took to run sims was cut down quite a bit.

At some point we should have a season/league where you can field a team of all-Canadian players.
That would be pretty awesome. O'Neill, Walker, Votto, Morneau, Martin, some solid/amazing pitching seasons from Jenkins, Harden, Bedard, Gagne closing things out.
And... uh... Pete Orr at shortstop.
Pete Orr originally committed to Nebraska out of his community college but decided to sign with the Braves instead. Our baseball program use to get Canadians all the time. I'm sure the Red Sox fans remember Adam Stern? Ex Husker. Good guy.
Luckily I would have enough good outfielders that I wouldn't need Stern.
I LOVED Adam Stern. I really wanted him to stick in the big leagues.

As did I. Really thought he would as a 4th OF. Was drafted pretty high by the Braves out of Neb and was on our first College World Series team. Total gamer and even nicer dude.

I think we should start the LCS era tournament right after the World Series start, but have a drawn out drafting period so the tournament itself doesn't start right away. I'm sure there would be times where we would blow through a couple rounds in a short period of time, but if there were, say, 12-24 hours before you get skipped then we could take our time and give Lament a nice break over the holidays.
1995-present
Franchise Tournament
1969-1994 (LCS era)
1947-1968 (Post-integration)
1921-1946 (Live Ball)
1901-1920 (Dead Ball)
Pre-1901 (Parisian Bob era)
I really think we need to do 8 tournaments followed by a Tournament of Champions (or 10 tournaments or however many we can think of). The World Series of World Serieses. Some seasons can be shorter, or just tournament style like the first one we did. The regional tournament and the name tournament would probably both be a lot of fun.
There wouldn't be a lot of stars either way for me, but I think I would be better off going with my actual name. There aren't a whole lot of Phils around.

I'm not opposed to holding off until after the holidays, but if people want to dive right into the LCS, I'm game.

Don't worry about filling out the roster with Phils, my moustache can cover the field for at least 6 players.

True, but...
