The Pentagon says we were targeting ISIS tunnels and camps. But of course there's apt to be collateral damage.Strat wrote:how many families did we just destroy and how many more years of terrorism did we just add to the equation?
We should bomb more. This is exhilarating!tragabigzanda wrote:The Pentagon says we were targeting ISIS tunnels and camps. But of course there's apt to be collateral damage.Strat wrote:how many families did we just destroy and how many more years of terrorism did we just add to the equation?
Region has an average of 400 people per square mile, but there are some largely unpopulated sectors within that. So, I guess Trump isn't cheering WikiLeaks on anymore?McParadigm wrote: WTF is going on with this administration. Will they ever really know what they want to be?
Yeah, that situation is getting scary.dimejinky99 wrote:China warning that conflict between the US and North Korea is imminent and there will be no winners.
This is a bit of a false equivalency. The international community has been quite clear on this for sometime and you are ignoring NKs persistent treats against SK and Japan, keys allies in the region.dimejinky99 wrote:What would the US do if a Chinese or North Korean fleet were sailing towards their shores?
That want to protect themselves is what. This is no different.
This is gonna end badly. Really badly.

But this is a terrible move by both sides. This time to stop NK was a decade+ ago and any attack now will just drive the other borderline pariah states to arm up.
You don't see any issue with your next door neighbor lobbing ICBM's into the ocean progressively farther every few years/months?dimejinky99 wrote:Bi_3 wrote:This is a bit of a false equivalency. North Korea isn't a threat. China would roll in there tomorrow if they were.
They aren't.
And rightly so it's their direct neighbour and problem.
Uncle Sam wading in to push an agenda is a problem however.
And with trump as president? Of all people. No good outcome for anyone.
