I'm winning my pools because I was the only one to pick Nashville to beat Chicago (I have Nashville in the finals vs. Washington). Anaheim is the only team in the West that can take them out, IMO.

Erik Karlsson is a monster, but Guy Boucher hockey is unwatchable. It's effective but my god, it's so boring. The Rangers aren't exactly a fun team to watch either so not sure how much of that series I'll watch.

This playoff system is so messed up that Washington and Pittsburgh, the top two teams, have to play each other now. The Rangers had more points than Ottawa but don't get home ice advantage.

Leafs had a good run. It'll be interesting to see how that team develops. Lots of talent but development isn't always linear and teams start to figure out players, so it's up to them to adjust. I've seen it with MacKinnon here in colorado. Luckily they have easily the best coach in the league.

It is sad that we play the trap now. I always loved that we were an offensive minded team.

i do not think niskanen had an intent to cross check him in the head but you do have to be in control. i think ovi's slew foot is what sent crosby off balance like that
