Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Always enjoyed this movie. Great twist on fairytales. Third time watching it in ten years.

Palm Trees and Power Lines.

Loved it. So hard. The ending is devastating. Reminds me of a very good friend of mine who got mixed with this psychopath and she just couldnt get off from that relationship.

The lead actress is wonderful.

Just watched and loved this as well.

It was extremely effective at portraying how these kinds of relationships work, and subtly building towards where it was all leading to, where in hindsight you could see coming a mile away, but was still shocking. Pretty devastating stuff. Hard to watch at times. It's like Red Rocket, but deathly serious.

Yeah it’s Red Rocket but from her view and super serious. The main guy damn what a presence. He is so creepy.

A Most Violent Year

Looked forward to seeing this again. Saw it with my cousin some years ago, when he was here to drink and a have fun weekend. Wasn’t really the right movie for that moment in time.

However, the movie was still a bit boring. Feeøs like a missed opportunity.

The Hundred-Foot Journey

Enjoyable feel-good film. It’s simple, but tells the story with both subtle humor, good acting, and a sensitivity to both cultures.

The Kadam family leaves India for France where they open a restaurant directly across the road from Madame Mallory's Michelin-starred eatery.

Thought The Rover was a little boring. Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson in a desolate and hard post apocalyptic future. Some action, but fairly straightforward.

My records indicate I watched The Rover about two years ago and everything about it would seem to indicate that this movie was made for me, but I remember absolutely zero about it
