My top ten from 2014 mostly based on previous views, as I’m about to watch all of these again for a second time (or a third time for a couple of movies).

That feels about right to me, except I'd put Theory of Everything above Interstellar.

Also have a few others left that I’ve never seen before, would be happy if any of these made it into the top ten.

Have you seen Wild Tales? I loved it, but was a little disappointed that our friends from Argentina were not that excited about it.

Whiplash absolutely rules. American Sniper is awful.

Bit of a divisive year!

I saw American Sniper in the cinema with a group of friends (maybe ten) that I used to go to the cinema with regularly.

I think I was the one that liked it the most. Nearly made my top ten list for the year. Several of the ones I went with, hated it.

Excellent so far.

That was a really gorgeous Studio Ghibli film. Did think the start was a little better than the end, but still fully enjoyed it

Will now watch The Judge. Love these kind of movies, should probably like it better than I did on my first viewing years ago. We shall see.

I thought Women Talking was pretty great, but what do I know.

Not near as boring as I anticipated.

I watched it a second time, in a movie theater this time, to see if I was being unfair to it. Woof

Haha yeah, I don’t think I could watch that one a second time.

It's no Top Gun, I'll give you that.
