yeah, anyone who thinks I listen to music on my phone (when I do, which is most of the time but obviously not always) because I've never heard of better sound quality possibilities is an absolute dumbfuck

I really do it because I hate myself

also, if you hate the type of production which is Watt's wheelhouse, your issues won't disappear just because you have decent speakers / headphones; music you find pleasing is still pleasing on a phone

OTHER THAN SPATIAL AUDIO/ATMOS - the band doesnt deliver different mixes to different streaming services. If you are listening to just standard apple and thinking it sounds better, that is because apple streams at higher quality lossless rates. Same with Tidal.

Spotify sucks and streams at the lowest quality, even if you bump it in your settings to 320KBS it is still lesser quality. Spotify music is much more compressed and delivered at a lower quality.

so, yess, compression and sound quality and how you listen to music matters.

Also, i got an email saying my Tidal Hi Fi subscription is lowering to $10.99/month. You guys should switch. They also pay artists more.

I don't think anyone is denying that there's not better sounding alternatives than streaming off your phone with ear buds. But if they are lets all agree that those people are jerks and should be hated.
That's not what i was saying, though.

Easy on the name calling. Get some rest, harmless. Gonna be a long day for you if you are already this upset.

can't deal with my "namecalling" (even though it wasn't directed it at him) but DID *directly* laugh at me and DID *directly* say "get some rest, Harmless" because he was offended by my audio choices

I just signed up for the hifi Tidal. Compared the mixes between Apple Music and Tidal under my AirPods Max.

Tidal wins by a mile.

I have a pair of Sennheiser 600s. And also sometimes I listen to music on my phone. It’s fine.

I did, because the evidence is there

who said I "need rest"? I promise you there's nothing wrong with my mind when I use the word "dumbfuck"

This seems like a great opportunity for us to imagine how good Infallible would be if it had Dark Matter's tone and energy.
