I'm a little embarrassed at how angry I got in this thread. It was warranted, though.

I don't have much interest in It Follows. But I thought The Witch looked good. And I loved the trailer for It Comes At Night. I think that looks really interesting.

I don't deserve an apology. I was a tad harsh. To be fair, though, joey was also wrong to try to meet you with reasoned arguments. You were not arguing from any information. You were just being reactionary and irrational.

I was, I admit it. The state of movies (and everything else) these days is making me pretty cynical.

How often do you go into a movie that you know you'll hate (because you saw a youtube interview with the director in which he used a word some other director that you don't like used once in another interview or because the trailer had the color orange in it and you don't like orange) but end up loving that movie?
