you'll burn out on anything after a while. If it is really good though, you'll remember why you love it even if you don't feel it. Certain songs like RVM or Even Flow and Given to Fly I feel like I've played out over the years. I rarely seek them out and will often skip them. But they're still excellent songs.
i am mine is one that i killed, great song, but i usually am not interested in hearing it but once every few months or so

Interesting that you couldn't illustrate that intention without adding 'freaking.'
As a rule of thumb I tend to consider the word "sweet," when not preceded by a cuss word or appropriate adverbial support, to be polite rather than enthusiastic.

The IMDB listing for Out of the Furnace now includes a song called Night Crawling written by Neil Young and Pearl Jam, performed by Pearl Jam.

We should have a thread about pj songs we really should love but don't at all.
I am mine would be in the top 5 of my list if I had one.
It to me is as tired bored and generic as pj have ever been.

It's OK but certainly not a Riot Act highlight, I agree.

The whole theme of riot act seemed to be lowlights. And it succeeded at that. Other than can't keep and all or none, the whole thing took a path I couldn't follow. My loss maybe.
If there was a big theme or statement with riot act, Pj failed at the delivery. Cos I didn't get it and I'm not alone by no stretch.

I love I am Mine. I place it with Can't Keep and All or None as the best and most important songs on that record.

Gonna take some of that back. Not having heard love boat captain in a while, and knowing what importance it has to that band, it works and delivers without being heavy handed.

Yeah, I Am Mine is top tier Pearl Jam in my book. That song means a lot to me.
