It holds Drifting. Dark Matter is a better song than Drifting. This is the LD version but I think I'd feel the same about the X-mas version

Ohh, Hold On. Dark Matter is a better song than Hold On (Lost Dogs version)

People can play along at home. None of these have been too controversial yet.
Eddie Vedder's solo stuff is integrated into this, and On My Way just came on. It's such a coda track that I don't think it's fair to compare. But I will say On My Way is my favorite of these kinds of transition/capstone pieces he's ever done, including equivalent pearl jam output like Arc, Wasted Reprise, and the 'filler' tracks on Vitalogy

Here's Lightning Bolt. This is tough, but I'd give the edge to Lightning Bolt, a song that has always worked for me as maybe the perfect distillation of what they were chasing with LBC and Unthought Known.

We've been posting with stip for what, 15 years plus now? Nothing really angers anyone any more, we just shake our heads and think "classic stip"

there are other seasoned posters it's much more important to continue mocking; it's all about priorities

20 I think.
State of Love and Trust (unplugged) and Even Flow (Ten version). I think both of these are better than Dark Matter, but I would rather listen to Dark Matter right now than Even Flow
I need a run of middle record songs so we can really get into this.

I do regularly forget how good the studio even flow solo is.

Ahh, here we go. Dark Matter is better than Smile, a song I would like more if it was a b-side. It's not entirely a fair competition as Smile has no aspirations beyond being a small moment that Eddie can't help but make big, and Dark Matter is on the statement making side of their continuum. Smile is nice. Dark Matter is almost great.

it's better than probably half of 'backspacer'
it's not better than anything on 'yield'

Light Today just came on, and it occurs to me that almost all of Ukelee songs are Smile adjacent on a smaller scale.
Also Dark Matter is much better than Light Today, which I think is my third favorite Uke song behind Sleeping By Myself and Without You

it's directed at anyone who continually does it, I can't keep up anymore; if that's not you, then no

I loved You, and had completely forgotten about it; when they were making Backspacer they should've reached back for good pop songs they'd already written before writing new ones
