Whoever is preventing Kevin Smith from making more movies is a hero to mankind.

Which one? Fucker's on more podcasts than you can shake a stick at. Some good - I love HBO and Fatman on Batman - but others eh. Smodcast has really gone down the shitter since he keeps bringing in guest hosts and Scott's doing his own thing. When he's on it's great but he's growing as a human being and doing stuff whereas Kevin is just...well, you know.

also those times that Scott talks about growing up in Vancouver because he mentions places near my house and that's never not weird.

Quentin Tarantino is reportedly putting the final touches on the script for a film based on the murders orchestrated by cult leader Charles Manson in 1969, as first reported by THR. Tarantino is expected to direct the as-of-yet-untitled project.

While there is not any official word on the film as of yet, it has been rumored that Brad Pitt, Jennifer Lawrence and Margot Robbie have been approached about roles. Robbie specifically is said to be in talks to play Sharon Tate, actress and wife of director Roman Polanski, who was a victim of the murders, as per Deadline. Plans to shoot are set for 2018.

This would mark the auteur’s first film based on true events, which could be an interesting dynamic considering the nature of the typical Tarantino movie. Still, the infamous cult crime seems fitting source material for the director’s penultimate film before he drops the mic.
This could be interesting.

Brad Pitt as Charles Manson has my attention.
There's no way I could see Brad Pitt and think it's Charlie Manson.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I genuinely hope he goes full gonzo alt-reality with it. Similar to IB. Have the Manson Family show up and then have Tate turn the tables and butchers them all one by one. A full-tilt, torture porn, trapped in a house, cat-and-mouse, gory slasher-horror film with a pregnant Sharon Tate methodically hunting and taking down each and every member of the family all over the property.

What about a "Fawlty Towers"-like T.V. comedy called "Charlie Manson's Mansion" where Charlie and a bunch of zany workers run a B&B? Try as he might, he always ends up unintentionally killing a guest. Could be hilarious.

You're goddamn right! What's more empowering than a pregnant woman defending her life, the life of her unborn baby, and her home by mowing down invading psychopaths intent on writing Beatles lyrics in her blood all over the nice furniture?

That's feminist AF.

How about not having to do any of that stuff?
Sure. She should just be a victim. Like all women. Is that what you want, trag? You want all the women to just be victims? You sick freak!
