Weirdly, one of the cases getting kicked up to SCOTUS on 2A is whether non-violent felons lose their 2A rights.

ACB has already drawn her line in the sand and says no.

This is weird because most 2A people don't care or default to f**k criminals. This is not a case to fundraise off of for the main players on either side. Damn those justices who bring nuance in.

You got it right in your first post, the NRA exists largely to enrich Wayne Lapierre.

As far as litigation goes, they do a bit of that, but are far more timid and less prodigious than others that work on that.

The only thing they do that others don't really is provide national standards for firearm training certification. If they disappeared tomorrow, thats pretty much the only thing that would be disrupted. That, and mac's magazine.

I hope this guy gets a chance to plead to time served and a felony conviction and loses his 2A rights. The government had several opportunities to do so before: (domestic violence, getting other than honorable discharges (2x!).

I don't find this crime to be worthy of significant jail time, just this guy should never be allowed near another weapon. He is far too flippant about safety and should know better.

Its going to be hard for the defence to claim he wasn't brandishing at the officers considering he is alleged to have illuminated them with his rifle mounted flashlight.

I'm really curious how detachable links will work under Bidens NFA regime. Does he have to serialize and pay for a tax stamp for every eleventh link? Clearly at least the last link must be serialized, but if he loads the belt the other way around he is a felon after the serialized link is ejected. The mind boggles.
