She's already in school, been there for 1.5 years now. I'm making good headway on a career transition of sorts without the masters, so I think I'm just gonna let it go.
Your kid is already in school? Holy shit. I would never have thought she was old enough yet.

The original?
Yeah. I don't know why I've never seen it before. I blame my Dad.
It’s a cool movie.
I find it pretty terrible.

A Man Called Ove
«Ove, an ill-tempered, isolated retiree who spends his days enforcing block association rules and visiting his wife's grave, has finally given up on life just as an unlikely friendship develops with his boisterous new neighbors.»
Pretty good Swedish movie. Hollywood just remade it with Tom Hanks.

Southpaw
« After a fatal incident sends him on a rampant path of destruction, a champion boxer fights to get custody of his daughter and revive his professional career.»
Saw it for the first time in 2019, so it’s only been four years. Still look forward to seeing it again. Really enjoy Jake Gyllenhaal movies.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves
Had a blast. This movie is way better than it has any right to be.

I had less than zero interest in seeing Dungeons and Dragons but I loved it. That's how you make a family friendly adventure movie. Total charm city and some moments of surprisingly audacious filmmaking. It's a shame it had to come out just before the Mario movie, I'm sure that greatly affected its box office take. I hope if they get to make another one they keep this same cast and creative team.
