Ugh. 3:12.

My headcold got "chesty" in the last couple of days. I knew anything close to 3 was gonna be out of the question.

Basically, just ran by feel most of the way.

Obviously not happy, but it's a BQ and technically a PR.

I want to go outside for a 5 miler tomorrow but it would be my 5th day in a row. I don't have any restraint and that's why I've failed at most things in life I think. It would still only put me at 20 miles this week.

Signed up for my favorite ultra in March, but now I'm thinking about doing the Utah Valley Marathon in June and skipping the Ireland ultra.

I'll do at least a 12-week plan for the marathon and drop 10 pounds, which shouldn't be hard considering I'll be running 80-plus miles a week in AZ in April and May.

My wife and I are vacationing in Sedona/Flagstaff in April. Strava better get ready for a few more AZ maps.

Good times. My wife and sister in law will be there around that time too.

I'm gonna do the marathon and the Ireland ultra.

I may do the rucksack marathon again as well.

If you can't get the times you want, just do a lot of races to mask the disappointment. It's the calling card of ultra runners.

Registered for the Death March.

First ruck run will be Saturday or Sunday. I'll be doing my long ruck runs on trails this time instead of the track.

Keeping my goals pretty simple this time. I'd just like to finish under 5 hours.

I'm gonna miss your perfect oval runs on Strava.

Weather looks like it might break tomorrow for a nice outdoor run. After a lot of experimentation with my wife's treadmill I've determined I can't get much more than a 7.7 out of it without it powering off. I hate it.
