People are also going to love it. The fact that I hated it might be a personal failing (though I really don't think so)

I think people will hate it and there will be another group that might call it a masterpiece or something.

I love Aster’s previous movies but this one doesn’t grab me.

Considering that I really disliked Midsommar, would that effect my impression of BIA?

They're very different movies. I don't see a through-line, honestly

Self/less

« A dying real estate mogul transfers his consciousness into a healthy young body, but soon finds that neither the procedure nor the company that performed it are quite what they seem.»

Hopefully a good one. Ryan Reynolds in the lead role here.

So far I prefer it over the two movies I saw yesterday. It’s interesting.

Ultimately it was just ok. Enjoyed it enough to have a good time, but not enough to recommend it.

Everest

«The story of New Zealand mountaineer Rob Hall, who on May 10, 1996, together with Scott Fischer, teamed up on a joint expedition to ascend Mount Everest.»

Some good actors involved in this. A bit curious about this one.

Paper Towns

«After an all-night adventure, Quentin's lifelong crush, Margo, disappears, leaving behind clues that Quentin and his friends follow on the journey of a lifetime.»

Hopefully a good one. Starting now.

Everest was a well told and well produced (based on a true story) film.

Feel like that one could have been so much better. I enjoy these kind of growing up movies, fairly regular guy in love with a hot girl in school.

Watched Hotel Transylvania 2 with my daughter. She loved it.

Get Hard

« When millionaire James King is jailed for fraud and bound for San Quentin, he turns to Darnell Lewis to prep him to go behind bars.»

Always thought this looked silly, but here we go.
