I can't even remember what I ate two days ago let alone what happened in an episode I watched in 2019.

I'm just not sure I'll ever trust anyone who doesn't have The Sin in their top five.

That's probably b/c I used a random number generator. :P

That’s funny. List starts off pretty strong though.

I find the quality of this show pretty consistent. Twist my arm, and I can pick favorites, but generally, the difference between best and worst small enough that I struggle to pick and choose an order of everything in between.

Don’t fully agree with that. There are episodes that are mediocre and could only be on tv. You might prefer even those to TPM or Solo, or me to TLJ and AotC (just examples). But in general they are not movie quality.

The best episodes though, especially as a whole, can compete with the really good to great Star Wars movies.

I can certainly pick worst and best. I doubt my choices would be different than a general consensus.

But between top 3 and bottom 3, there's just not enough difference for me to pick and choose.

So, I guess ...

Chapter 7: The Reckoning (S1E7)
Chapter 13: The Jedi (S2E5)
Chapter 2: The Child (S1E2)

................................

Chapter 5: The Gunslinger (S1E5)
Chapter 4: Sanctuary (S1E4)

I was wrong. I can't pick a bottom 3.

If this was more limited series (say 1-3 slightly longer episodes) for each season, you'd be trimming a lot of fat and having less inconsistency.

I agree.

I'm pretty sure S1 was initially written to be a movie (probably a Boba Fett movie). The second season did a far better job than the first with avoiding the inconsistency and "filler" largely because it was written with 8 episodes in mind, not a two hour film in mind.

This show is a video game, filled with side quests and main missions.

You can drop nearly everything from episodes 4-6, and shorten episodes 10 and 12 drastically. Then you’re left with some prime rib.
