Anyone got a good take on the dynamics here? Pro Israelis call in Armenian reinforcements?
I thought these were just kids protesting to get their finals cancelled?McParadigm wrote:Imagine putting on your galaxy brain helmet to tweet “what you don’t realize is that protests primarily hope to put pressure on those elected officials capable of feeling pressured by the protests.”
For the record, I am posting from campus right now.B wrote:Define professional protestor. I am what one would call a townie. If I went up to UNC to join the encampment because I agreed with the students, I'd get thrown off campus for not being a student, but I wouldn't be there because someone paid me. Of course, I could go stand here, just across the street from campus, all I want and protest. I doubt the Town would allow a tent, but I can stay there as long as I want and take breaks for food and sleep.
Careful out there friend. Lots of doxxer types at this things now.B wrote:For the record, I am posting from campus right now.B wrote:Define professional protestor. I am what one would call a townie. I haven't been beat up by a cop yet, so I figure there's nothing else here that's going to hurt me.Bi_3 wrote:Careful out there friend. I think the rules are if B gets doxxed, we owe him a kegger. Who's on standby to set up the GoFundMe?Bi_3 wrote:Careful out there friend. They left out “after a Jewish girl was beat unconscious earlier in the day” , but this is obvious result and exactly what the encampment people wanted.. to trigger retaliatory violence to justify their violence and these dumb fuck pro-Israeli protestors fell right into that trap. Just like the war in Gaza. Everyone there on both side of the fight should be in jail for the next 72 hours and every student on campus that day should sue the ever loving shit out of the university.dimejinky99 wrote:
