dark matter is not better than U.

dark matted is not better than Olympic Platinum.

dark mather is not better than Of the Girl.

dark mattress is not better than Unemployable.

I don't know that I've ever gone to bat for Unemployable, but here we are.

I think we all just desperately need a new song to talk about.

4/5-star percentage held in the low 70s for the first couple of weeks, and it's now mid-60s.

I think what takes me out of most of the last three albums plus this song is Ed’s singing. It’s just a different style? Hard to explain. It’s not bad singing, it’s just just more… constipated? Not sure how to describe it but it takes me out of songs where i otherwise like the music

i get you, similar for me too. it's like he's lost all subtlety and ability to create mood. he just tries to crank it to 11 every time. kind of like his guitar playing.

I'm still at a 4, but I'm not enjoying RM as much; I'll be more into it when a new song drops; if I enjoy the second single I'll have high (enough) hopes for the new album; I'm grading on a curve, because I think it would be absurd not to for any band 33 years on

the only thing I want (so much) for this album is that it's better, or more stylistically my bag, than Backspacer or Lightning Bolt

Gigaton has so many great "moods".
