Always thought this looked silly, but here we go.

Not the greatest comedy in history, but there are some good laughs here.

Feel strongly like I’ve seen this before, I must have, but have forgotten to log or rate it in any way. Will finish rewatching it later.

Watched The Night Before instead. Mediocre Christmas comedy.

Diving into Heavens Gate rn

Well this was certainly a mixed bag. I loved the scenery and the score, and more than a few moments and scenes. But there was too much that was just inconsequential. Kris Kristofferson's character grew less interesting as the movie went on. Something about Walken's just seemed out of place. It really seemed like Cimino didn't know what story he wanted to tell.

Before I even knew about all the controversy and production history, something drew me to wanting to watch it. Maybe it was the poster and/or title. I'm glad I did, but can't see myself wanting to watch it again.

Exodus Gods and Kings was pretty good. I really like Bale and Edgerton and they were both great as usual. It dragged a bit in the middle but it started and ended strong.
