I understand the complaint, but I don't really care. It's a Hollywood movie with Hollywood stars and for the most part they were really good.
Turturro was the only one who felt out of place. I actually laughed when he first appeared on screey.

Cleopatra should be a bad baby girl with a formidable schnoz. She could be purple for all I care, but she absolutely must be 1. bad as hell and 2. schnoz'd up

Whoever is in that Cleopatra movie can't possibly be worse than Gal Gadot. At least we'll hopefully be able to understand her dialogue.

As someone who has found Ari Aster's movies downright bad, I'm very excited by everything I've heard about Beau is Afraid

She was of Greek heritage, so it’s on par with white actors playing roles of other ethnicities. Not a big deal, but a strange choice.

Knight Of Cups
«A writer indulging in all that Los Angeles and Las Vegas have to offer, undertakes a search for love and self via a series of adventures with six different women.»
Terrence Malick is fascinating. How he is capable of absolute brilliance, but also some of the worst movies. Very interesting style when it works, beautiful, serene, philosophical.

I saw this movie around the same time I read the book. I really liked it too. I really enjoy mountain climbing stories.

Trainwreck
«Having thought that monogamy was never possible, a commitment-phobic career woman may have to face her fears when she meets a good guy.»
Will watch this next. I do really like Bill Hader.

I gave House of Gucci a watch tonight and I liked it a lot. Driver and Lady Gaga were excellent and I actually liked Leto's weird performance.

Right? Leto may be a chode, but he was fine in this. The character called for a ridiculous performance, and he delivered just that.
