The mid-tempo ones are probably growers that start slow & build and not likely to stay etched in the memory on first listen unless someone is really listening closely with the intention of noting every intricate detail.
Might I remind everyone how In Hiding, prior to achieving its rightful GOAT status, was firstly met with a collective dismissal.
Still the weakest song on Yield
Eeeeeeeeeasily
This boggles my mind. Top 3 on that record for sure.

I fully realize people love In Hiding and understand its appeal. I’ve just never liked it, it does absolutely nothing for me. Faithfull is the same formula and 10,000x better.

I wish Kat or Sea were at the Listening Parties....even Stip
If that were the case , we'd know this album front to back by now and have a good impression of how our lives will impacted moving forward both personally and as a society.
Instead...we send a bunch of drunks who can barely report anything other than some drunken foggy recollections about tequila, Ed's daughter, & air drumming.
Is it against the law over there to stand outside a metal door and hit record??
London really dropped the ball here
Big time!!

Some could say this resourcefulness and guile might have come in handy during a certain skirmish in the late 18th century.

If the British showed the same amount of ineptitude then as they did at this listening party, then Paul Revere would have never been a hero.

So, are we going to get any more clips through the point your phone at the sky app?

Seems like the bands marketing crew repeatedly trips over themselves with odd, overlapping efforts that really fail to land the way they likely hoped.

Apparently this album does not pair well with alcohol

I would argue Pearl Jam has only four five-star songs since Binaural so how can one better understand this 3-star song up to a five-star song? Suggestions welcome! Ha
Because people have different tastes in music. What more is there to suggest?

p.s. and because it's just a Stip thing ;)
Are you asking for the case for Mind Your Manners? Because I certainly have one

I went to listen to Running on Apple Music and happened to notice React, Respond has an “E” indicator for explicit lyrics. Has that always been there? I always saw the “E” for Wreckage, Running, and Something Special.

People have reacted so positively to the F bomb in Running that they decided to copy and paste another one into the end of React, Respond. Keep the people happy.

Totally, I get that. For me it's the lyrics that really separate it. Faithfull has great lyrics as well, but In Hiding speaks much more to my own personal experience. I also just adore Ed's vocals (sorry stip).
