One positive thing I have noticed about Trump is that he wasn't making routine God-pandering comments like most politicians do. So suffice to say that disappointed me a tad.

It's obvious that he's not very religious, but the few moments where he's tried to develop Christian-cred have been hilarious. Remember when he said the Bible was his favorite book, but then couldn't name his favorite verse. "I don't want to get into specifics" is actually something he said.

I try as hard as I can to really avoid listening to the nonsense of this election cycle and just listen to economic news/world news etc.... but the fact that he can pretty much say anything and people will rationalize it away is kind of new and weird to my political landscape. It's fairly amazing. He's pretty much reading from Ron Burgandy's teleprompter and selling used cars.

On the Hillary side... I mean, I can't think of a less trustworthy less likeable person in politics. It's kind of interesting that really either one can seemingly go around, do anything, say virtually anything and there is no recourse. No matter what these two people are going to have big fans.

Pandering I guess is pretty easy. If you don't actually have any real convictions it's easy to manufacture them when you need to in politics I guess

Yep. I'm like 80% sure. Throw this election and try to secure congress again in a couple of year. Maintain gridlock until the next round.
