Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

It wasn't necessarily the lack of a scare factor. But yeah the friendship/relationship aspects were endearing enough. But for me it takes something away when the thing that is supposed to bond them isn't interesting or doesn't work.Jorge wrote:It's not really a scary movie. They're both very romantic, sweet movies about friendship and memory. Especially the second one, though that one has some darker and more intense moments. I think they're both great
For real. Shut up and take my money!VinylGuy wrote:fucking awesomeHypnosomnia wrote:There is a book:VinylGuy wrote:I saw Alien Covenant again last night because of this thread. DAMN, what a fucking wild ride. I loved it even more. Fassbender was out of this world good. That ending is fucking grim.
