Woman In Gold
«Maria Altmann, an octogenarian Jewish refugee, takes on the Austrian government to recover artwork she believes rightfully belongs to her family.»
First movie of the weekend.

Rewatching Ant-Man. One of the best MCU movies.
Will also see The Diary of a Teenage Girl.

Re: What movies are you watching?
Have decided to watch The Revenant next. Likely tomorrow morning.
After that one, I will have 20 movies left from 2015. 12 I have not seen before, and 8 I have previously rated highly.

Yeah, that's pretty cool. I've only ever seen the couple big ones, Tokyo Drifter and Branded to Kill, both of which I should probably re-visit actually.Malloy wrote:FUCKKK

But I think I'm going to look at Lars von Trier's Nymphomaniac movies. I had such a good time with Bound, I figured I should try to not be so afraid of sexy movies

Argo watching Nymphomaniac expecting it to be sexy like Bound is really funny. Kind of like Milhouse and his friends excitedly heading in to watch the sexy, R-rated movie Barton Fink

Re: What movies are you watching?
I didn't mean I was expecting it to be sexy. I meant that, like Bound, it is a movie supposedly about sex and that has heretofore scared and intimidated me. But Bound was good so I'm not so scared anymore.

I've seen Salo, and In the Realm of the Senses, and The Night Porter, and that horrid John Waters movie where the guy rapes the woman and the chicken at the same time. I can hack it

Re: What movies are you watching?
What's a sexy movie anyways? I don't think I know what that is, outside of a porno, which Nymphomaniac definitely is at times.

Re: What movies are you watching?
Blonde has both a very good one (with the waterfall) and a tremendously terrible one (with the President).
I just recently watched the blaxploitation classic Super Fly (which is very good, btw. classic indie 70s movie vibe, but more grounded than something like Shaft or Coffy). But it took has a very good sex scene, or at least a very loving very sensual bubble bath smoochy scene.

Don't expect any sex in that one. I liked it, even still
