I remember myself and my Dad seeing this at a Local midnight screening. It was packed and the crowd rode very bump and laughed at all the jokes.

It’s a perfect homage to the first film.

Han is the Star!

Kylo was so impressive. He is my fav character from the sequels overall

Poe Ray and Finn BB8 were all great in this movie.

Leia Chewy C3PO perfection.

Luke getting his lightsaber back. It was all set up!!

And then…
Kylo should have killed Han later in the trilogy. If Ford didn’t want anymore, then at least early in the second.

Han, Leia and Luke should have met once.

Starkiller Base should have been less ridiculous.

Rey better built up in the beginning.

The weird Han scene in space, should have been better. Luke could be where he was, but be introduced with half an hour left.

The movie had great locations, a solid cast, a beautiful production, and a wonderful product to build on. But it could have been better.

TLJ had completely different flaws, but wasn’t a logical continuation, and stayed well clear of what had made Star Wars great before it. Pretty movie though.

TROS did a decent job with what was left, but the trilogy was already hurt badly by then. And some of what they did to fix it, was rather jarring.

I agree that it should have been way better. The whole ST is closer to a failure and it does not get better with time

Cant agree about Reys intro, Anders. it's pretty perfect as it is..she doesnt even have to speak, for ages. You see how desolate and stuck she is. JJ and his mystery box thing actually worked here. Don't explain her backstory. Who she is, wheres she from? who were her parents...why is she hearing Obi wan in the force? all that was kind of the point. as intrigueing as anything in SW ever, if not more so. (i dont love what they did with the result of it all in TROS but still)

coulda woulda shoulda but a flashback scene with Luke Han Leia and Chewie (and a young Ben Solo?) would have been amazing..See Luke taking him off to learn. Even just a short scene filmed as a memory it doesnt even need dialogue. That would have been so great.

yeah Rey´s intro was wonderful. And Finn was very good too in that one, very funny.

Both trilogies are better than all of those sitcoms
