What the hell.
Did I say "Daughter" I meant "Time to piss and buy another $12 beer."

That sounds fun too.

Flights to Chicago are super cheap right now. Could fly in day of show (Saturday) for 175.

It's the Brandi Carlile cover they did on that tribute record last year.

Why do they go into EPJPJE* mode for these stadium shows. It's so disappointing. Just play a regularish set.

Probably because that’s what the majority of those in attendance want. I have to say, one way I enjoy stadium shows is that the crowd is not your normal PJ psychopath convention.

Yup, but ed didn’t let her sing much

The Stripes cover was actually a sweet moment, it was dedicated to local teachers and Ed’s kids came out on stage with the favorite teachers during the song.

There was a shout out to Soundgarden but not in reference to CC

I disagree. The only thing that everyone in the stadium has in common is that they're PJ fans. Shouldn't that mean that they would prefer to hear a PJ song more than any other song by any other artist. 9 covers and only 3 from No Code, Binaural, Riot Act, Avacado and Backspacer combined is a problem. No one should want 9 covers. No one. This isn't a cover band.

I'm pretty sure the only people in attendance complaining about covers are people that post about Pearl Jam on internet forums. The majority of the people in attendance, while PJ fans, know the hits from the radio and little else. They probably want to hear Comfortably Numb alot more than they want to hear Breakerfall.

For the record, I agree: Too many covers.

The second I saw Brandi Carlisle I knew had a piss break, so I had that going for me which was nice.

Again Today was a total waste of time in this context.
