I don't know if Stone's background vocals would work well in PJ, cause the gulf between his style and Eddie's is vast, regardless on people's feelings of the vocal's qualities. For better or worse, Ed almost always sounds extremely earnest, even when I think he's trying not to (that's part of the reason some the vocals on Backspacer don't sit well with me). I don't think I'd use the word 'earnest' to describe how Stone sings.

I dont know. I kind of feel its the center piece of the record. Kind of states exactly what PJ were attempting with Backspacer. "Ah fuck it, lets have some fun". Live my live with the volume full. without it - it might come across as just lazy
maybe...i think gonna see my friend, the fixer or Johnny guitar are better examples of that.
i just think supersonic is a shitty song--unlike all those much better songs listed above

I'm quite sure Ed was fully baked when he came up with the lyrics for The Fixer.

If only he was he might have come up with some better lyrics.

" ...Stone will be tweeting a weekly message about softies created to resemble the artwork..." that just reminded me of Gladys! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1nfnMUmqiA

God damn it. This song is marked private, so I can't even add it to my "Moonlander" playlist on Soundcloud. I can't embed a player at theskyiscrape.

Nevermind. It's been fixed.

I just love that Stone recorded an upbeat indie rock song with a clarinet in it, and a chorus that goes ""I gotta UUUUSE my fins". It's just perfect.

What sucks is there's no way he tours for this. I would pay just about anything for a Stone solo show.
