Some of these are fucking hilarious, especially when it’s the weird looking singers’ faces.

Is this the first time a Limp Bizkit song advances?

I’ve been voluntarily watching Limp Bizkit live videos as a result of this tournament and I don’t know how to feel about it.

I wonder how Wes Borland feels about spending most of his life playing guitar for Limp Bizkit. He seems so out of place.

From what I gathered by reading their Wikipedia page, he quit before they'd even recorded their debut album, but Fred Durst talked him into rejoining. And then quit again in 2001, only to again be lured back. Maybe he's just resigned himself to Limp Bizkit being his job now, for better or worse, even if he'd prefer to be making independent dark synth music or something.

Borland is a very odd-looking person, especially for someone in Limp Bizkit.

He seems pretty articulate and intelligent - so, uh, how does that work?

"Hey Fred, I've written some new riffs, I'd like you to check them out."

"Fuckin' killer, I've got some perfect lyrics, it's gonna be called Nookie."

"Oh."

I enjoy the part of this interview where he explains, somewhat apologetically, that he'd never met Fred before he'd committed to joining the band and describes their relationship as "two people thrown into a working situation", while making this face:

Man, this poor guy.

Last year, speaking about his latest solo record:

“I’ve not liked heavy music for a long time, and moved further away from it as I’ve gotten older. I’ve been less interested in the ‘band’ thing. I found myself not really listening to bands anymore, but soundtracks instead. So this was an album made of irritation, to be honest. Being irritated with music that’s so in your face and invasive, with loud guitars and loud vocals. Things that demand your attention. When I’m painting or being creative, I don’t want to listen to music that like that. And as an artist, I don’t want to be an angry kid going, ‘Me me me!’ I stopped listening to music like that, and whenever I do get the bug, I find it doesn’t last long.”

OK, I need to stop reading Wes Borland interviews now.

He sounds just as annoying as Fred Durst but in a different way

I've met Wes before and he's definitely a down to earth dude who sounds pretty intelligent when he talks music.

That said, his solo projects and other bands are pretty much as bad as Limp Bizkit. Anyone who thinks Big Dumb Face or Black Light Burns or Kween Kong isn't Limp Bizkit level terrible is just fooling themselves.

He looks like an older version of the kid that played Dave Rygalski on Gilmore Girls.
