That's good advice. It's weird having this discussion about Hondo, though, because he's only been in one episode that I've seen so far. And I had no idea he would be in more of them.

He generally exists as kind of an informant. A HEY GUYS THERE IS AN EPISODE OVER HERE IF YOU COME WITH ME.

Not sure where this is all going. But the way Ezra keeps being flippant and looking for shortcuts, I don't see any way this muthafucker doesn't go Dark Side.

As annoying as he is to me, his story is one of the most interesting. What season you on now Joey?

I'm like half way through S2. Just watched The Protector of Concord Dawn. Which was super badass and gave us some backward glaces at Sabine. Very cool.

As of right now:

Hera
Chopper
Sabine
Kanan
Ezra
Zeb

*Ashoka is #1 if she counts as a "Rebels" character.

Hondo is dead last. I'm not sure I know which imperial droid you're talking about. I also don't care for Captain Rex. I am, however, a pretty big fan of all the Inquisitors.

Hera and Sabine are both great. I like Zeb, but that's just me apparently. *shrugs*

Kanaan gets more interesting in the finale of season 2 and in season 3.

I like all these characters. Zeb is fun. But he's the least dynamic and interesting to me at this point. That could change. And again, I don't dislike him per se. Just not as much as the others.

I'm really excited to see where they take Kanan. And to see if he ties into the larger Star Wars picture at some point.

I've always thought Zeb was there for the kids. They've tried to give him some depth, but he always ends up striking me as the comic relief.

He's grown on me quite a bit. He bugged the shit out of me in those first few episodes.

Were you guys aware that the design for Zeb was actually the original design for Chewbacca?

And some imagantion and a smidgen of creativity for feet, buttons and greeblies

Another Animated “Star Wars” On The Way?
A new job listing on Lucasfilm’s Recruiting website, which posts available jobs at Lucasfilm and ILM, is looking for a new Storyboard Artist to work on “an episodic TV series” according to ComicBook.com.

The listing reads: “works closely with the Supervising Director and Episodic Directors to create expressive and entertaining storyboards for an Episodic TV series. The Storyboard Artist conveys story from script through visual storytelling techniques in a 3d environment.”

The post is suggested to be an indication that another new “Star Wars” animated series is being developed by the company, and not one for the currently on the air “Star Wars Rebels” which is well established and in the midst of production on its fourth season.

Dave Filoni, who was a supervising director on ‘Rebels’ got a bonus job a few months ago as he was put in charge of “creatively overseeing future animation development”. Could that have yielded fruit this quickly?

If a new series is on the way, expect a potential announcement at “Star Wars Celebration Orlando” in April.

Knights of the old republic or something based between Jedi and Force awakens?

Adventures of Luke Skywalker could be cool. If a little Samurai Jack

I can't see them doing anything between 6 and 7. Maybe after this trilogy is completed.

Really hope it's not something between 3 and 4 unless is something like Vader searching for straggler Jedi to finish killing them all.

A Bounty Hunter series that jumps along the timeline would be kinda cool. The few Clone Wars episodes I've seen had a small band of Hunters. Add Bossk, and Dengar (Fett, too) and make it more an anthology series. That would be ok.

Ultimately, something set before the prequels would make the most sense. KOTOR would be the obvious way to go.

Some pals who are very tuned in reckon it will be something in or around the OT cos lucasfilm want to fill all that out and mine that period as much as possible before moving onto other things.

This thinking makes sense to me.
