According to today's newsletter both Ohana weekends will have official bootleg releases. Every Wednesday this month will have one released.

My assumption is Ed/band made a decision to cut out the solo part and mike forgot. Ed generally cuts that part when played solo so maybe it’s part of them just reworking a few things.
Also, I’m loving even flow. About as groovy as it can get with Matt.

I think it was Matt's mistake. In this video Mike was ready to play the solo in front of the stage, and Ed look surprised that the song was ending. Everybody laughed in the end and looked back to the drums.

Is it me or anyone else feel that everytime Matt starts DotC the crowd thinks its actually Why Go?
Anyway, this is the best version (counting the 3 bootlegs) from this song... Matt is really trying some nice alternate fills, guitar is on point, as is the synth and the vocals are perfect.
That Never Destination is also great, Jeffs bass is sounding huge, the middle jam is cool... but what is Boom playing in the solo?

The 2021-10-01 version of DotC is incredible - they really nailed it
I know there’s a huge amount of recency bias, but DotC is probably the only song this millennium that would crack my PJ top 20
