if you replace sirens w/ LIR and future days w/ CC lightning bolt would be up there w/ vitalogy, no code n yield for me.

CC for Future Days would be enough to elevate it to that level for me. I quite like Sirens, while LIR does nothing for me.warehouse wrote:if you replace sirens w/ LIR and future days w/ CC lightning bolt would be up there w/ vitalogy, no code n yield for me.

I don't understand the comments about their lack of placement on Lightning Bolt.

But Brain of J was recorded on a previous album session but put on a later album. It's not like there isn't precedent for doing this. And clearly it would fit better on LB than Backspacer.cutuphalfdead wrote:So much this.hlniv wrote:Everyone realizes that Cold COnfession and Let it Ride were recorded like 9 years ago, right?

Yes, a single 15 year old example of a 2 and a half year old song being placed on an album later than its initial composing and released 18 months after the previous album certainly a precedent sets for this.E.H. probably b/c we heard them all around the same time, so we associate them with LB, even though they were S/T outtakeshlniv wrote:Everyone realizes that Cold COnfession and Let it Ride were recorded like 9 years ago, right?
I don't understand the comments about their lack of placement on Lightning Bolt. Why not complain that they aren't on S/T? Or Backspacer, for that matter?
