Thank you, metal door leak, for getting us through the last few weeks.

Wonder if they do any late night shows or podcasts in the lead up. Covid kind of ruined any chance of performances last time.

I was wondering when we’d pivot to that. Would love to see the fellas out promoting this thing and talking about the process (let’s get granular).

Maybe Ed can regale us with little vignettes about cosmology and astrophysics.

Naaaah, I want everything I can get my greedy hands on.
Full EPK, new Zane Lowe interview, a From The Basement session, a KEXP session... Moooaaar.

I do believe we'll get a Zane Lowe interview and a warm-up club show, at the very least.

Funny, I kind of just want the album as soon as possible and feel like I can digest that alone for a while before they take it on tour.

I have wondered if he's felt kind of sidelined, with how acclaimed Gigaton was and how they sang his praises perhaps he thought he was their new go-to studio guy and suddenly this hotshot Justin Bieber producer comes along and he's shoved aside
Muting the bass track on the mix print will do that
wait what

there seems to be zero bass on Take The Long Way, or at least it's greatly reduced compared to the others, which is a shame because Jeff did great on the album but TTLW should be beefier than it is

I haven't watched regularly in ages. Has anyone else done three songs since PJ in '94?
Let's do that again...three songs

Maybe even one of those outdoor 6-7 song sets that Kimmel is fond of doing once in a while.

I would love to hear DM live on a late show, as I suspect it will sound amazing… which means if they do play one, they’ll do that Pearl Jam thing and play a different song off the record.

I remember this board being ecstatic about a recording from outside the venue of the fixer video shoot.

Ah simpler times.

2nd single, with the b-side being a studio cover of The Who's Heaven & Hell.

I listened to the door leak once again.

I think that as a collection of songs this album is gonna beat Gigaton silly

In that case, can Watt splice this with The White Album and call it Gray Matter?

I expect to like this one a lot, can't imagine it being better than Gigaton, but sure hope I'm wrong.

Far be it from me to make silly, premature proclamations, but, f it

This album is already better to me than Giga, regardless of what the rest of the songs do.

Reason? They were all looking at each other in their dreamy doe eyes while they were crafting it.

Whatever emerges via that irreplaceable alchemy is good enough for me.

I'm confident it'll kick ass musically; if it improves on Gigaton lyrically, and has no "Supersonic" clunkers, they're seriously in competition
