I had the Doom when I was a little drunk. I just remember it tasting like a very watered down Jack and water.

i have only had one of those and it was the Enjoy By. i loved it.

A local liquor store by me now only sells wine and beer. They have a keg pouring station with only good stuff on tap. Was going to get my growler filled with Stone Enjoy but it was out.

Went with double trouble ipa. Mmmmmmm

I'm drink some Lazy Magnolia Jefferson Stout. Pretty good beer. The brewery is only 25 minutes from me. Between Gulfport and New Orleans. They make some good stuff. Try the Souther Pecan if you see it.

Indeed, it is excellent. I haven't had it in a while though. Maybe next weekend. I've still got a pretty good stock in my fridge though.

So I said screw it and had 4 -- the Enjoy By (which is always outstanding), the Double Trouble (which was surprisingly smooth and not extremely hop heavy for an IIPA), the Parabola (I look forward to this release every year now), and the Bruery White Oak. The Bruery blew me away. It's more of an IPA/sour combo, and it was absolutey outstanding. I hightly recommend it to anyone if you see it.

I picked up a bottle of Southern Tier's Plum Noir. It's an Imperial Porter brewed with Italian plums. Looking forward to this one.

Yeah, I enjoyed it too. As mentioned, that Sam "hopology" mixer was pretty tasty. The only one I didn't really care for was the "Baltic" one, which I suppose is there attempt at a black IPA.

I mean, fuck you! If the beer isn't here then you should tell me that when you hand me the beer list. "Here's your list, and apologies, but we're out of the Aviator Saison and the Hop Notch IPA." How fucking hard is that?

Yep, or waitstaff that seems totally unaware of what they have on tap and seem almost put off by notion of telling you.

We have Founders here now!!! I got some of the Dirty Bastard and really enjoyed it. Now to blow about $50 on everything else they have.
