I’ve only used nespresso at Airbnbs. That machine is a vacation godsend.

yep, used my first one at an airbnb in england recently and was impressed. my in laws had been talking up there's recently too, so i pulled the trigger.

i don't really have a preference..i always order a couple of everything..although the black and purple ones are stronger than i like..the decaf is good too..you?

too early to say, but anything over an 8 intensity is stronger than i prefer. i've liked the ones that fall into that 6 or 7 range.

Some light banter happening on the senate floor about coffee as I tune in to the Kavanaugh hearing.

EDIT: I don’t mean to make light of the hearing. This is truly awful stuff. I do think it’s a testament to the power of coffee and caffeine that Dr. Ford keeps returning to her cup during this ordeal, and discussing the drink before the proceedings is the most small talky of small talk. Thus is the nature of this universal beverage.

I got this Asobu cold brew maker today from a closing Barnes & Noble for $12. First batch will be made with Cuban (Cafe Caracolillo) coffee.

Weirdly enough, I prefer shopping at Barnes and Noble to my independent book store. Maybe that’s the introvert in me. The staff doesn’t talk to you there and it smells like coffee.
