Most cops are good people.

I still have a scar on my kneecap from BART police kicking and clubbing the shit out of me on the Coliseum BART platform in Oakland after Pink Floyd in '94. I had hopped the rail because I was tripping too hard to get the ticket out of my wallet. The cops claim I put up a struggle when 5 of them tackled me to the ground. Can't imagine why I would have resisted at that point.

I was dragged to a door you would never notice and taken in, where I was out in a cyclone fence holding cage an questioned for an hour, before I was loaded in the paddy wagon and taken downtown. I was released to the streets at 3am, white boy in shorts and a concert shirt in downtown Oakland. I had been cited for failure to pay, resisting arrest and a couple other charged. My shirt was torn and my knee was bloody. When I reported to court several weeks later, mysteriously no charged had been filed and the case was dismissed.

What out the incident back in my head was seeing a woman thrown to the floor for nothing by a BART cop on the news last night

.. And then there's that Fruitvale Station movie, another fucked up BART incident. And these are just transit cops with guns, crazy

then maybe dont do drugs and go out in public and act like an ass?

Why not just issue the fair evader a citation and go on with your day?
