This. I concur.
Me too!
I love that film.
Whoops, I said Room, but it was Searching.

Fuck yeah, it was great...and that pro shot footage needs to be released.

Agreed. It's possible the rest of the show was a trainwreck, though. The Seattle show 2 days later was...not good. Chris' voice was really strained, so on some songs he sounds great and on others he sounds awful.
That version of "Searching With My Good Eye Closed" is one of the things that prompted me to start the Live Guide. I must have watched that video 1,000 times in my life.

The version of Searching from Hype is one of the best live videos ever, it's a fucking beast performance. Really wish there was an actual boot (preferably video) of that entire show).

Another cash grab I'm easily susceptible to, but any unheard studio versions (see the superdeluxe version)of Like Suicide, Limo Wreck, etc are exciting

Their demos are always worth checking out. Wonder why they went rehearsals over a live show or live collection?

Only tangentially related: do any of you guys have that semi-widely available vinyl pressing of Badmotorfinger from Europe from the early 2000s? I think it's from Holland? How does it sound?

They probably didn't record a ton of their shows in 1994, and that was when their shows started to go downhill. There are plenty of excellent shows from that era, but maybe they don't feel that way.
Also: This is by no means a complete collection of stuff from this era. Unless it appears by a different title here, "Night Surf" is absent, as are the studio versions of "No Attention" and "Tighter & Tighter" that were recorded around this time. There were rumors Soundgarden recorded 30 or so songs for
Superunknown, and I don't see any of the missing ones here.
