It'd be pretty funny if Eddie releases another album before Pearl Jam does.

Is mike the only one not putting out solo/side project stuff?

Mike's been doing stuff with Star Anna and soundtrack work along with the Mad Season reissue. I also hear he is teaming up with Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes to form Guitarsefuck.

I'm getting more and more curious about this. Not excited exactly, but I'm not having a good time of life lately so at least the mystery of new PJ music is welcome. Almost more than the music, I'm looking forward to hearing what the production values are like, because they will give us a good sense of what the album will sound like. The biggest shock of Backspacer was possibly not the songs, but the overly polished pop production. If that's a little rougher, I'll be interested to hear more. Well, rougher production plus a decent song. I'm not expecting the best song on the album to be the first single.

If boom made an instrumental Pipe Organ album along the lines of "Drumgasm", would it be called... nevermind.

considering it's been reported that eddie has left the band (r.i.p.), i figured the out-of-work weiland could fill in while pearl jam does a couple legs/years of a greatest hits tour.

Agreed. BS came out 4 years ago. It's pretty surprising that it's still circulating.

especially with eddie's 2nd album coming out so soon after his first one. i would think people would recognize and follow his new direction/approach.
