I do love my SGs, even though LP-style guitars make up the bulk of my collection. I've got an cherry Epiphone G400 that i put EMG's into many years ago which i eventually modded to run at 18v instead of 9v so they have a much broader dynamic range. Pretty much the only way EMG's sound good.

My other one is a black 2000-ish Gibson that is a freakin workhorse. It's my #1 go-to. It's banged up and the finish is a mess and i'm pretty sure it suffered a neck crack at the headstock that was expertly repaired (before it came into my possession) but it sounds incredible, always stays in tune and is a dream to play. The 498T in the bridge was getting a little microphonic so i repotted it last weekend and it's back to normal again.
