I love that it creates a mood and just floats there with some peaks and valleys for six-and-a-half minutes and that end section with the backwards wordless vocal is just thrillingly disquieting.

Man oh man, I like this a lot. Really looking forward to this album.

It's so spooky when those first backward vocals at the end hit on top of that piano. Sounds like some sort of hound of Hell

Why would you want one of the only 20-year-old bands still pushing themselves into new musical territory to stop?

This is a good question. I, myself, don't want them to stop necessarily. But to play devil's advocate, I would argue that

1) they aren't still pushing themselves into new musical territory. And

2) there's something to be said for stopping while you're on top, before you get stale.

I'm not sure how much further than can really go or want to go, at this point. But if they hung it up after this one, it would be hard to argue that they weren't the best band of the last 20 years.

But maybe they don't give a shit about all that.

I'll take new music from any of my favorite bands for as long as they want to create something new.

It's basically Radiohead meets Sigur Ros, which is my dream come true.

Pretty much this. As far as I'm concerned they can go on as long as they want, but I wouldn't be distraught if this was the last album.

Daydreaming is good...pretty nice tune. Still i dont feel engaged with it. Its just background music so far, but its a promising album.

I was surprised by how much the video moved me. And unsurprisingly, after several spins Daydreaming is starting to floor me. "Johnny goes nuts with an orchestra" is certainly starting to seem like it may be the connecting thread to the record.
