And I'm gone gone gone
Now I'm older than movies
Let me dance away
Now I'm wiser than dreams
Let me fly fly fly
While I'm touching tomorrow
And I know who's there
When silhouettes fall

I wonder how much unreleased and unfinished material there is in the Bowie vault.

I have no doubt we'll see more of his work.

Same here, Mary. I've always thought of you as Bowie's biggest proponent on RM. :heartbeat:

He knows his time has come...

Official DB FB Page wrote: THANK YOU

The family of David Bowie is currently making arrangements for a private ceremony celebrating the memory of their beloved husband, father and friend.

They ask once again that their privacy be respected at this most sensitive of times.

We are overwhelmed by and grateful for the love and support shown throughout the world.

However, it is important to note that while the concerts and tributes planned for the coming weeks are all welcome, none are official memorials organized or endorsed by the family.

Just as each and every one of us found something unique in David's music, we welcome everyone’s celebration of his life as they see fit.

it's funny, I'm all kinds of upset about this but its just this mute rage that has no outlet. I saw the Lazarus video on his birthday and kept being struck by two thoughts 1- he looked so... old, or aged is a better description. and his photos from just a few years back were so vibrant...

and 2- david bowie doesn't give a flying fuck what anyone thinks, about anything at all, he just moved through life like its one big art project

anyway, fuck cancer

This is sad. Glens getting a ton of shit for doing this. He's actually really devastated about Bowies death. Wish the haters knew how much.

Uncut's Top 30 Bowie tracks. Great stories in here too. This was published in the early 2000's and sadly lacks any Earthling.

JIMMY PAGE: I played on his records, did you know that? His very early records, when he was Davy Jones & The Lower Third. The Shel Talmy records. I can think of two individual sessions that I did with him. He said in some interview that on one of those sessions I showed him these chords, which he used in “Space Oddity” – but he said, “Don’t tell Jim, he might sue me.” Ha ha!

Just some grouches saying he was co-opting Bowies death for his own end/publicity.
He wasn't at all &a even a cursory glance at his Twitter will show that. He's really upset about it & did the only thing he knows how to do in that situation. Just play.
