To be clear, the deplorable act is the extortion and subsequent public execution of a non combatant, not how he was executed.

you're right, we certainly wouldn't want to lose our "broh" status with the Saudis.

i still think the wording would offend our allies in the region... that do the same thing (as a means to censor speech).

I had a roommate show me one of these probably a good 10 years ago. Like you - I wish I'd never seen it.

I watched it. Pretty intense. Easily the most "polished" beheading video I've ever watched.

Also, the version I watched only has a few seconds of the actual beheading in it, before it cuts to his remains. I wonder if I saw a censored version.

This is the same one I saw, and the source I got it from is not normally known for censoring videos. I believe that it's actually the original version, and why there was some speculation whether or not it's legit.

Jorge loves some good production values in his snuff porn.

Do we have platy's update on how the newest video compares to the last one? Have production values been ramped up, as this travesty unfolds? Or is ISIS creatively stagnant?

Also, I'm wondering...I know a lot of the talk about US hand-wringing on this centers around "remember how well it went last time we tried to blah blah blah," but I'd wager we'd be more comfortable blowing these people up with all our spendy, spendy hardware if there wasn't so much Israeli drama and potential Putinizing in Iraq's general global neighborhood.

Apparently we are now looking for 11 commercial passenger jets that were taken by militants in Libya.

why can't i find a source on these events other than the usual endoftimes.basementnews.geocities.com-types? this may or may not be a legitimate question, and it's ambivalent whether i tend for you to respond.
