i thought that the 'do nothing' result is basically 'thrown out the door and door briskly slams shut'
in which case the pound will tank

It’s odd this. I’m not sure the Spanish have even whispered about Gibraltar until this week.
Last time the Brits went to war over a pretty much insignificant rock was the Falklands (And I dgaf the falklands belong to Argentina no matter what)
That’ll just show you how things have changed though I guess.
