Ok, so watching Khawaja get a ton was nice, watching Warner get a double was special, and a 300 run partnership is certainly impressive. But fuck me if that wasn't a pretty boring old arvo at the cricket.
Better than actually working though of course...

Very predictable one-sided cricket.

Nah, too much work on, and it was always gonna rain.
Mind you, after forking out $130 for 2 tickets to sit in the sun for a session on Friday, perhaps I should have. Would have balanced the books a bit.

I couldn't get down to Sydney for the first few days of the last ashes series and My membership had to be renewed. I saw just over a session (although it was a full innings collapse) for about $530. I didn't make it for any other days that year.
I've had some great days at the SCG and I used to go to every single day of international play.

Adelaide Oval is looking gorgeous in this first ever day night test. Fantastic inaugural venue selection.
Nice to see a good match this time too, with plenty of wickets.

There is no way that Burns should be dropped for Marsh.

No. They should stick with Burns as opener and leave the team unchanged for the MCG, and I say that as a Khawaja supporter. If Smith is indeed carrying an injury he should rest for the SCG test at least bringing in Usman.
Or he should rest for both tests and Usman comes in at 3.

Another completely one sided day of cricket. I hope this either gets wrapped up really quickly and ends tomorrow or they can carry it through to the end of day 4. Both selfish work reasons as our schedulers aren't back in till Tuesday and it's an extreme pain in the arse.

Thank the gods that the West Indies series is over. The ODI series with India should be much more entertaining.

Good to see Bailey and Smith dismantle India's bowlers the other night. Very happy to see Faulkner back in the fold.

Good news. I work this evening so a full day's play would be ideal.
Don't know why Marsh got the nod over Usman.

Usman deserves his chance. Smarsh is used goods as far as I'm concerned.

Lynn should be in the ODI team, maybe at the expense of Maxwell?
Warner
Finch
Smith
Bailey
Lynn
MMarsh
Wade
Faulkner
Pattinson
Starc
Cummins

Well didn't both Maxwell and Smarsh prove me wrong.

Both played well. Maxwell is a game changer. Marsh is just an okay player at this level. Give him the chance and he'll do an okay job.
This series is odd as Australia are walking these games home. Dhoni seems to have settled on his team being patchy so he's not too invested. That's an odd quality and one that Australia hasn't seen for decades.
